Futsal Rules

General

5 players including goalie, minimum 3 players to play including the goalie and they have to have 3 players to start the game.
Team Benches has to be on each team's goal side
No slide tackle (direct kick) but, goalie can slide in the penalty box.
Each team can have 1minute time out each half when they have the possession of the ball.
Shoulder to shoulder or any kind of charging is not allowed.
Each game is 2x22 minutes with 2 minutes half time break.

Goal Keepers

Goal kick is throw- in by goalie, ball has to leave penalty box to be in play, goalie cannot drop to himself and kick.
When goalie has possession of the ball (by hand or by feet) and passes to one of his teammates they may not pass back to him until ball touches one of the other team players.
Goalie has 4 seconds to release the ball at all times.
Goalie cannot score a goal by drop kick or throwing but he can roll the ball on the ground and score a goal.

Restarts

Throw-ins are Kick-ins, feet on the line or outside the line, ball on the line or touching the line, 4 seconds to kick and ball placed on the ground by hand in kick-in and corner kick.
In any restart defending team 5 yards from the ball & kicker has 4 seconds to kick the ball.
For an issued red card the team play short for 2 minutes, unless goal is scored.
Corner kick is a direct kick.
Kick-off is an indirect kick.
Kick in is indirect kick. Also there are no off-sides in Futsal.
No quick restarts . All restarts are ceremonial.
