Indoor Soccer 

5v5 co-ed recreational indoor soccer is played in Metro-accesible gymnasiums throughout the District of Columbia.

Current leagues:

  • New Leagues starting December 2010
Details:
  • Games are 50 minutes long - two 25 minute halves
  • There must be a minimum of 1 members of the opposite sex on the field at all times for each team
  • Optimal roster size 10
  • 10 jerseys provided to each team
  • All players must wear shin guards at all times

Level of Play:

These are recreational leagues not intended for competitive play. Where possible, District Sports will split leagues into divisions to accomodate both the Intermediate to advanced player and the less experienced or beginner player.

Season:

Each season is 8 regular season games plus playoffs for the top teams.
